“Strong, Sane, & Solid Families: Passing on the Truth About Real Health to the Next Generation”

This workshop addresses the urgent health challenges facing children and families today. We are living in a time when our children are more stressed, more sedentary, and more nutritionally depleted than ever before. Rates of obesity, anxiety, sleep disorders, and chronic illness are climbing – and these patterns are setting the stage for a lifetime of struggle. But it doesn’t have to be this way.

In this engaging, eye-opening, hope-filled session, families will engage with the reality about true health – how God designed our bodies, minds, and spirits to thrive.

Through practical examples, faith-based encouragement, and fun, interactive teaching, parents will discover:

  • How the body really works (in a language kids can understand)
  • The biggest myths holding families back from thriving
  • The link between physical health, mental well-being, and spiritual vitality
  • How small, consistent changes can protect, restore, and build lifelong resilience
  • Activities, tools, and resources that make learning about health fun and doable for the whole family

Other Session Topics, that can be Tailored to Your Groups:

  • “Building Your Family’s Health from the Inside Out” – practical foundations for lifelong wellness.
  • “The S.T.R.E.N.G.T.H. Lifestyle” – 8 transformative habits for the whole person.
  • “Reclaiming the Temple” – restoring body, mind, and spirit to God’s design.

What is Functional Health?

  • Aligning with the way God designed the body to work – restoring balance, energy, and wholeness by focusing on the root causes of health, not just the symptoms.
  • A lifestyle of daily, intentional habits that strengthen the body’s design.
  • A way of life where parents learn to care for their own bodies while teaching their children – at a young age – how their bodies work and how to honor them.

This includes:

  • Nourishing foods that stabilize blood sugar.
  • Movement that builds energy rather than drains it.
  • Rest that restores.
  • Rhythms that calm stress and support the immune system.
